Even though it’s 85 degrees in the area, the holiday season is quickly approaching regardless of if we like it or not, and Target is going to be ramping up their payroll to accommodate around 100,000 seasonal employees.
This feels like an indication that the pandemic blues are over, and people have returned to their old shopping habits. If this holds up, it could be the biggest holiday shopping season we’ve seen in a long time, at least that’s what retailers are hoping.
For those worried about inflation and having enough cash to get something for everyone on their shopping list, Target has also announced that half of the toys they sell are going to be priced under $20.
Those who want to shop early for Christmas gifts can participate in the Target Circle Week. That event starts on October 6th and runs through the 12th.
