Do you think this father was justified to kick a themed street character?

This video went viral over the weekend. I’ve watched it at least 100 times.

Take a look yourself. Is the father justified in kicking the man in the suit?

In my view, it looks like the person inside the suit was having a hard time balancing himself and possibly had both feet inside one of the costume’s feet. While trying to move the foot, it might have tripped the child, but it appears to be empty weight. and the child seems totally fine after tripping.

Seems like an honest mistake. Maybe the dad overreacted? Plus, people were letting their kids swarm the person in the costume who looked to be having a hard time walking.

I don’t know for sure. What do you think?
