The 80s are back with a blockbuster on Netflix!

According to Netflix, one of the biggest sequels of the summer to an outstanding 80s flick debuted at #1 on the Netflix charts with the long awaited return of Beverly Hills Cop: Alex F.

The heat is back on. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, starring the legendary Eddie Murphy, debuted at #1 on the English Films List with 41M views, making it the most-watched title of the week. From Detroit to Beverly Hills, fans celebrated the long-awaited return of the wise-cracking detective that launched the action comedy genre with music from Lil Nas X and Detroit’s own Big Sean, a throwback ‘80s trailer, the return of Crazy Frog, and even some new drip for Lady Liberty.

I remember watching the original in a movie theater at a mall in Clearwater Florida. For me personally, it was “peak 80s!”

I have a confession to make. I haven’t seen this yet. I know, it’s ironic for someone who works at an 80′s radio station! Watching it is on my weekend things to do!
