After a completed review by the National Football League and the NFL Players Association, the Tennessee Titans have been fined $350,000 for breaking the league’s COVID-19 protocols, according to NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

The review concluded that the team failed to comply with mask-wearing requirements and that team leaders did not properly communicate requirements and expectations for workouts outside of team facilities, NFL Network reported.

A total of 13 players and 11 personnel associated with the Titans tested positive for the virus between Sept. 24 and Oct. 11, making the Tennessee team the only one with such a significant outbreak across the league.

Two scheduled games were postponed due to the outbreak.

As of Saturday, 244,087 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Tennessee, including 3,100 deaths, according to the state’s Department of Health.

Rapoport and Pelissero said the NFL and NFL Players Association are now looking into violations committed by the Las Vegas Raiders. The organization has already been fined $250,000 after head coach Jon Gruden was cited for not wearing a mask on the sideline. The team was also hit with a $50,000 fine for having an unauthorized person in their locker room after a Sept. 21 game against the New Orleans Saints.
