Recall alert: Hostess recalls SnoBalls because of undeclared allergen

Hostess and the Food and Drug Administration have announced the recall of SnoBalls snack cakes.

The reason is due to the product being packaged in Hostess Chocolate CupCakes packaging, which does not list coconut as an ingredient.

SnoBalls contain coconut.

The snacks were made on March 13, 2021, and have a best by date of May 27, 2021. They have UPC 888109010096 and batch number I031321000.

They were sold in convenience stores and dollar stores throughout the U.S., the FDA said.

If you purchased the recalled cakes, return them to the store for a full refund.
