National Hamburger Day falls on Saturday this year, and if you are a burger fan, there is a deal to be had.

The hamburger is a staple across America and has been for quite a while. An 1896 Chicago Tribune article refers to the growing popularity amongst rail commuters of the “hamburger sandwich,” according to Nationaltoday.com.

The popularity of the burger has only grown over the years. Today, more than half of all sandwiches sold worldwide are burgers.

Below are some of the deals you will be able to take advantage of on Saturday.

Burger King: Burger King is giving away a free Hamburger with any $1 purchase exclusively for Royal Perks members on May 28 and May 29.

Fatburger: On May 28, 500 NFTs will be minted and available to fans on a first-come, first-serve basis to fans visiting www.supperclub.xyz/fatburger.

Hardees: Get a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star or Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich with a minimum $1 purchase.

McDonald’s: Check the McDonald’s App for offers. Offers may vary by location.

Smashburger: Get a Double Classic Smash for only $5 at participating locations. The promotion will be available both in-store and via Smashburger’s app. Use the code “Hamburger” when ordering.

Wayback Burgers: Buy one Classic Burger and get one free. The deal is available only on the Wayback app. The discount will automatically appear in the app at checkout.

Wendy’s: Anytime between May 23 and June 6, get a free Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger when you place an order using Wendy’s app. The deal is listed under “Sweet Deals.”
