State troopers in Wyoming seized 601 pounds of methamphetamine and 108 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop Sunday, authorities said.
The drugs, discovered on Interstate 80 near Evanston, are worth more than $3 million, the Casper Star-Tribune reported.
It is the largest amount of meth seized at once in Wyoming history, David Tyree, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent based in Cheyenne, told the newspaper.
Troopers arrested Darren Kareem Hall and Brandon Layton Rampersaud, both from Ontario, the Star-Tribune reported. Both face a pair of felony charges for possessing meth and cocaine with the intent to deliver, according to court documents.

According to charging documents in Uinta County, a trooper pulled over the pair, who were traveling in a rented Dodge Caravan minivan. After troopers issued a speeding citation, a drug canine alerted troopers to substances in the back seat of the vehicle, the Star-Tribune reported.
Troopers found eight “large black duffel bags” with 142 plastic bags and 32 plastic tubs of methamphetamine, according to the Star-Tribune. The 601.2 pounds, or 272,700 grams, are worth more than $2 million based on meth’s current street value.
The trooper also reportedly found 40 bricks of cocaine weighing 108 pounds in cardboard boxes. The drugs had a street value of $1 million, according to court documents.
Hall and Rampersaud were arrested at the scene, the Star-Tribune reported.
