Arizona State Parks shared the image on its Twitter page, with the caption: “POV: you were running away from the coyote and got confused…”

While it’s unclear whether there was an actual coyote, the cartoon roadrunner featured in many Looney Tunes cartoons found increasingly inventive ways to escape its cartoon adversary. This roadrunner appeared to be just as creative.

There is no word on whether Ranger Jackie, who was credited for taking the photo, aided in the animal’s escape, KPNX reported.

The greater roadrunner is native to deserts and can run up to 15 miles per hour, according to the Audubon Society.
