UPDATE: Road reopened after crash involving dump truck in Clark County

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP — A Clark County road has reopened after a crash involving a dump truck on Tuesday morning.

Crews were called to Titus Road near Gateway Boulevard just before 5:30 a.m., according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP)dispatcher.

The investigation revealed that a 1999 Volvo WG dump truck, operated by 48-year-old Jamil Oliver of Dayton, was entering Titus Road from a private drive with the dump bed raised, according to a spokesperson with OSHP.

The truck then stuck then struck overhead utility lines.

Oliver was not injured in the crash.

According to OSHP dispatch, Titus Road has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
