GERMAN TOWNSHIP — A man is in custody hours after police were called to a Clark County neighborhood.
Clark County deputies were called to Snyder-Domer and Willow Dale roads in German Township around 6 p.m.
A man who claimed to be the father of the victim of a domestic at the address spoke to News Center 7.

He said his daughter was allegedly choked by the man inside the home.
He said his daughter was able to get out of the home, but the man refused to come out, prompting the large response.
He said he didn’t want to see the man hurt either and wants it to end peacefully.
Our News Center 7 crew saw a man exit the home six and a half hours after the standoff started and be put in handcuffs by deputies.
Clark County Sheriff Chris Clark confirmed the man has a history with law enforcement and is likely facing charges connected to the domestic dispute.
