UPDATE: Firefighters extinguish fire at home under construction

ENGLEWOOD — UPDATE @ 6:20 A.M.

Firefighters put out a fire at a home under construction in Montgomery County early Wednesday.

Englewood firefighters responded around 3:07 a.m. to the 200 block of West Wenger Road on reports of a house fire, according to Englewood Fire Chief Anthony Terrace.

TRENDING STORIES:

A driver initially discovered smoke coming from a house. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and fire coming from the roof.

Crews quickly got the fire under control and put out hot spots, Chief Terrace.

No one was injured.

The house was under construction.

The cause of the fire and the cost of damage remain under investigation.
