Van Halen photo book coming out in November

Van Halen: A Visual Biography, scheduled for release on November 20th, will surely put a smile on Van Halen fans everywhere.

Pulling from over 40 years of photographic material, journalist and author Martin Popoff, has compiled a timeline of images of the band, ranging from their early beginnings through their latest tour.

So regardless of whether you’re fan of “Diamond” David Lee Roth, or a fan of the “Red Rocker” Sammy Hagar, you’ll find plenty of historic photographs, album artwork, concert posters, trivia and other material to satisfy your VH fix.

The book description, which you can read in its entirety and pre-order here, says “The end result is a beach-balling an’ sun-tanned symphony of words and pictures, indeed a book that differs from previous Van Halen photography projects through the inclusion of so much rare memorabilia, side ephemera and otherwise nifty pictures of paper goods perking up each page as one basks in what this band managed to accomplish over four decades of white-knuckle rock on the edge.”

And, for the ultimate Van Halen fan, if you pre-order by September 23rd, your name will be printed on a dedicated fan page.
