My Top 10 Rock N’ Roll Christmas Tunes

There are many classic Christmas tunes people can wrap themselves in this time of year. I, too, love the likes of Burl Ives, Bing Crosby, Eartha Kitt, Frank Sinatra and so many others. But, honestly, as great as they are, those aforementioned singers and performers belong to my parents (and grandparents) and generation.

So, here are my Top 10 Rock N’ Roll Christmas tunes. Some are covers and some are originals but all of them put me in a Chrismassy mood!

No.1: U2, “Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home).”

No. 2, The Kinks, “Father Christmas.”

No. 3: Bruce Springsteen, “Merry Christmas Baby.”

No 4: RUN DMC, “Christmas In Hollis.”

No. 5: Stevie Nicks, “Silent Night.”

No. 6: The Ramones, “Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight Tonight).”

No. 7: Small Town Titans, “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”

No. 8: Twisted Sister, “Oh Come All Ye Faithful.”

No. 9: Foghat, “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

No. 10: John Mellencamp, “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”

I hope you enjoyed the list. Have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year and I’ll see you on the radio!
