The FBI is now investigating the gruesome case of a 19-year-old girl burned to death.

On Dec. 6, Jessica Chambers was found walking down a road in Panola County, Miss., on fire with burns over 98 percent of her body, WREG reported.

She died after being flown to a hospital in Memphis.

On Monday, WREG reported, the Panola County Sheriff Dennis Darby announced the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the U.S. Marshals Service are now joining the search for the unknown killer.

"Anonymous," a group of activists known for various protests and online hacking efforts, and other bloggers are also focusing on Chambers' attack and coming forward with theories about her death.

Members of "Anonymous" have found information on people they claim are related to the case, saying that Chambers' death is related to gang activity, USA Today reported.  Law enforcement says there is no proof.

Her parents want justice for their daughter, but they went to the Facebook page set up in her memory and dedicated to the fight for that justice to plead with people to let law enforcement do its job.

Earlier, the girl’s father told Fox, “The only part of her body that wasn't burned was the bottom of her feet."

Ben Champion described the horrors his daughter went though.

"They squirted lighter fluid down her throat and in her nose,” he began.

“Apparently they knocked her out. She had a big gash on the top of her head.”

Emergency crews confirmed Jessica Chambers was able to speak when they arrived. Her father says those were important words.

"She told them, she told them, told him who done it," he proclaimed.

No arrests have been made.
