UPDATE: Lanes reopen after semi fire on I-75 in Miami County

MIAMI COUNTY — UPDATE @ 10:43 a.m.:

Lanes are back open following a semi fire on Interstate 75 in Miami County Friday morning, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

UPDATE @ 6:45 A.M.

Traffic has been diverted to the left shoulder after a semi fire on Interstate 75 in Miami County.

The semi fire was reported around 2:45 a.m. on I-75 southbound past State Route 55, according to an OSHP dispatcher.

All lanes remain closed, and traffic has been diverted to the left shoulder of I-75 SB.

ODOT cameras are showing delays on I-75 SB at State Route 41.

State troopers and firefighters responded to a semi fire on Interstate 75 in Miami County early Friday.

Troopers from the Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) were dispatched at around 2:45 a.m. to I-75 southbound past State Route 55 on a reported semi fire, according to an OSHP dispatcher.
