Here is the latest on the child pornography investigation involving Jared Fogle.

He pleaded guilty.

The 37-year-old former Subway spokesperson of 10+ years has pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography and engaging in sexual acts with multiple minors. Documents released by the U.S. attorney’s office in Indianapolis on Wednesday present details of visits to high-end hotels like the Ritz Carlton and the Plaza Hotel in New York City, where Fogle paid a teenage girl to participate in sexual acts. According to the document, Fogle offered to pay the girl a fee to find him another underage girl.

He’ll pay big bucks.

Fogle will pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims, who will each receive $100,000.

There’s not an exact amount of time that he’ll serve. Yet.

A child porn charge is punishable by a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Sex with a minor can carry a sentence of up to 30 years. What’s certain is that Fogle with have to register as a sex offender and undergo treatment for sexual disorders. An agreement filed by prosecutors states that the government will not recommend a sentence of more than 12½ years in prison, and Fogle will not ask for a sentence of less than five years.

He knew about other sexual offenses.

Russell Taylor, the executive director of the Jared Foundation was arrested in April after law enforcement officials found child pornography in his Indiana residence. He was involved with the foundation, which focused on raising awareness about childhood obesity and visiting schools to encourage healthy eating and exercise habits, for eight years before his arrest. Fogle claimed to be surprised about the allegations and stated that the foundation was "severing all ties" with Taylor, The Indianapolis Star reported. But documents released on Wednesday alleged that Fogle had received several sexually explicit photos and videos produced by Taylor, who secretly filmed minor children at his own home.

Katie Fogle, Jared’s wife since 2010, has finally spoken out.

James Reed, Katie’s attorney, issued the following press statement on her behalf:

“Obviously, I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared. I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children. Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter. I appreciate the respect for my family’s privacy during this difficult time.”

Subway already severed ties with Fogle when allegations emerged in April. They released a statement Wednesday on Twitter distancing the restaurant from its long time pitchman.

"Jared Fogle's actions are inexcusable and do not represent our brand's values," the restaurant posted. "We had already ended our relationship with Jared."
